To clear up the confusion the release times for iPhone OS 3.0 are as follows:

Update: The GMT time was inaccurate and they might change depending if Apple catch wind of the leak out of the times as the servers will have problems.
The download page for the new 3.0 OS for the iPod Touch has been found in iTunes. The page isn’t yet functional, but does seem to complete the transaction and prompts the user to connect their iPod Touch to iTunes. It then says OS 2.2.1 is still the current version, then the download cancels.
Audio Surf is a Windows game that makes completely unique levels for the user. Using music on the players computer it analyzes it and creates the track accordingly giving it endless possibilities. It would however only work using iPhone OS 3.0 as it would need access to the users iPod Music and using the improved graphics chip, could give some amazing graphics.
To control the game you would tilt the device, using the accelerometer to control the ship. You could challenge friends using the notification system and submit scores to online leadboards. This game would work great on the new iPhone OS, just hope someone makes it.
As a jailbraker myself, although upgrading to iPhone OS 3.0 on Wenesday might seem like a great thing to do just wait until the Dev-Team have sorted out a jailbrake even though I doubt it will be long as they have a jailbrake for the Beta firmware.
Best idea is wait till the Dev-Team have released the jailbrake and then update to the new iTunes and install the new firmware.
The new 3.0 firmware for the new iPhone 3G S, due for release on the 19th June, has already been put up on the Apple servers for download.
The download is avliable at: iPhone2, 1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw but for now it’s useless as it can only be installed on the iPhone 3G S.
However if we look at the name iPhone2,1 it leads me to believe maybe a new iPhone is being planned. As some hackers have found references to iPhone3,1 in the firmware so whats being planned Apple?
Apple have just announced Tethering is supported by 22 partnets, one of which is O2. So for those in the UK, like me we will be able to terhet with iPhone OS 3.0.

A french blog has leaked these pictures out of what appear to be the new iPhone, to be released at WWDC on Monday.
The new pictures seem to fit with the other leaked images and rumours of the new phones features.
The model in the pictures is running is running iPhone OS 3.0. It shows what seems to be a front facing camera, perhaps video calling?
The matte back and black bezel which seems very consistent with the leaks and rumours so far.
Also it shows it’s a 16GB model, as all of the leaked images do.
As we are getting ever-closer to WWDC on Monday the leaks seem more consistent therefore I believe that maybe this is what we will see on Monday.
The New iPhone back is listed by Luna Commerce, in it’s list of products.
It shows the matte back which most of the leaked images are showing.
The cover looks similar to the previous leak, this one has been pictured from both sides. The model number is listed as A1303.
